Exploring the Mind. Nurturing Wellbeing. Inspiring Conscious Transformation.

Hello, I am Dr. Priya Rohan.
I am a Neuro Integrative Mental Health Specialist, Neurointegrative Wellness Practitioner, Clinical Hypnotherapist, Integrative Mental Health Researcher, and author, with over eight years of professional experience in holistic mental and emotional wellbeing.
With a doctoral background in Integrative Medicine, my work bridges clinical hypnosis and neurobiology with quantum pro-consciousness to advance integrative therapy.
A longstanding fascination with the human mind, consciousness, emotional experiences, neuroplasticity, and the relationship between our psychological and physical wellbeing has shaped my professional journey.
Through my work, I bring together scientific understanding, integrative wellness principles, clinical hypnotherapy, and consciousness-informed approaches to help individuals develop greater self-awareness, emotional resilience, behavioural flexibility, and personal wellbeing.
I believe that understanding the human mind requires looking beyond isolated experiences and recognising the complex relationships between our thoughts, emotions, subconscious patterns, nervous system, behaviour, and everyday lifestyle.
This philosophy continues to guide my professional practice, research, educational initiatives, and writing.
My Professional Journey
From Understanding the Body to Exploring the Mind
My professional journey began in cosmetic dermatology post my medical graduation, where my initial interest centred on the visible dimensions of health, appearance, and personal wellbeing.
Over time, my curiosity moved increasingly inward.
I became interested in understanding why individuals respond differently to similar experiences, how emotional memories influence behaviour, how subconscious patterns develop, and how the mind and body interact during periods of stress and personal change.
This interest gradually shaped my academic and professional journey towards mental health, integrative medicine, consciousness studies, and clinical hypnotherapy.
Today, my work reflects this multidisciplinary foundation, drawing upon neuroscience-informed perspectives, mind-body wellness, emotional awareness, and non-pharmacological approaches to personal development.
My Approach to Integrative Wellbeing
Understanding the Individual Beyond the Immediate Challenge
Every individual brings a unique combination of experiences, emotional responses, behavioural patterns, beliefs, and personal circumstances.
Rather than viewing wellbeing through a single perspective, I adopt an integrative approach that considers the interconnectedness of conscious and subconscious processes, emotional experiences, nervous system responses, and lifestyle influences.
My areas of practice and professional interest encompass:
- Clinical Hypnotherapy
Using focused attention, guided relaxation, therapeutic imagery, and suggestion-based techniques to support self-awareness, behavioural change, and personal wellbeing.
- Neurointegrative Wellness
Exploring the relationship between nervous system responses, emotional experiences, attention, and everyday wellbeing through neuroscience-informed strategies.
- Mind-Body Awareness
Developing a greater understanding of the interaction between psychological experiences, physiological responses, stress, and lifestyle.
- Neuroplasticity-Informed Personal Development
Applying principles of learning, repetition, and behavioural adaptation to encourage healthier habits and more flexible responses.
- Mindfulness and Consciousness-Based Practices
Encouraging present-moment awareness, reflective thinking, and a more intentional relationship with one's thoughts and emotions.
- Subconscious Pattern Exploration
Supporting individuals in recognising habitual responses, strengthening self-awareness, and developing new perspectives on personal challenges.
My approach emphasises collaboration, individual preferences, realistic goals, and respect for each person's unique experience.
Area of Wellness Support
My sessions focus on non-pharmacological wellbeing, relaxation, emotional awareness, and personal development.
Individuals may seek support in relation to:
- Everyday stress, excessive worry, and overthinking.
- Relaxation and nervous system awareness.
- Fear-related responses and confidence building.
- Emotional resilience and self-regulation.
- Self-esteem and personal development.
- Sleep-related habits and relaxation.
- Behavioural patterns and habit development.
- Mind-body awareness and lifestyle balance.
- Personal growth, motivation, and performance.
- Mindfulness and conscious living.
My work can also provide complementary wellbeing support for individuals who are already receiving conventional medical or mental healthcare and wish to incorporate additional relaxation, self-awareness, and lifestyle-oriented strategies into their personal wellbeing routines.
Such support is complementary and does not replace appropriately licensed medical, psychological, or psychiatric care.
Doctoral Research and Academic Interests
Exploring the Science of the Mind and Consciousness
My doctoral research in Integrative Medicine explored clinical hypnosis and its relationship with neurobiological processes, consciousness, and integrative therapeutic approaches.
The research received a highly favourable academic evaluation and contributed to the development of an integrative framework that continues to inform my professional interests.
I am particularly interested in the neuroscience of hypnosis, including the relationship between attention, emotional processing, executive functioning, self-referential processing, and behavioural learning.
As an Integrative Mental Health Researcher, my interests include consciousness studies, neuroplasticity, mind-body medicine, emotional resilience, behavioural transformation, human potential development, and emerging wellness technologies.
I remain committed to examining these subjects through continued learning, research engagement, and an evidence-informed perspective, while recognising the importance of distinguishing established scientific findings from emerging or exploratory concepts.
Professional Affiliations
My academic and professional interests are supported through affiliations and memberships with organisations representing psychology, clinical hypnotherapy, and integrative medicine.
These include the American Association of Drugless Practitioners (AADP), American Psychological Association (APA), American Board of Hypnotherapy (ABH), and European Society of Integrative Medicine (ESIM).
I value interdisciplinary learning, ongoing professional development, and responsible engagement with evolving knowledge about the human mind and wellbeing.
An Author Beyond the Practice
Bringing Research, Wellbeing and Human Experience into Everyday Reading
Alongside my professional work, I am an author with a particular interest in making complex topics relating to the mind, emotional wellbeing, consciousness, and integrative medicine understandable and accessible.
My nonfiction writing explores subjects that frequently influence everyday quality of life, including sleep, chronic worry, emotional regulation, women's wellbeing, family relationships, and personal development.
Through my books, I aim to translate research-informed concepts into approachable explanations, reflective exercises, and practical educational resources.
My Books

Upcoming Books
My forthcoming books will explore a wide range of subjects related to mental health, integrative medicine, neuroscience, consciousness, and personal wellbeing and feature a workbook to handle various mental health issues of adolescence and adult life.
My Vision
I envision a world where understanding the mind and caring for emotional wellbeing become natural parts of everyday life.
My mission is to bridge scientific inquiry, integrative medicine, clinical hypnotherapy, consciousness-informed perspectives, and holistic wellness education in ways that encourage meaningful personal development.
Through my practice, research, and publications, I hope to inspire individuals to understand themselves more deeply, recognise their internal resources, and cultivate greater balance between their thoughts, emotions, behaviour, and lifestyle.
Because meaningful transformation begins with awareness and grows through understanding, conscious choices, and consistent personal development.
